In 1963, she sang with Bob Dylan from the stage at the March on Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, and since then she has been unwavering in her support for issues including civil rights and environmentalism.
Last year, Baez published her first book of poetry, When you see my mom, ask her to danceA deeply personal collection of poetry that tells of his upbringing, his struggles with depression, and his musical peers, including Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. As a pacifist, do I have to love everyone?

Which country is run by psychopaths?
I hope not.
Am I allowed to do this?
Fantasies
