JKSSB exam paper leaked after allegations

Web Desk, 24/08/2025

Srinagar, Aug 24: On Sunday, with allegations of a paper leakage ahead of a recruitment test in Jammu and Kashmir, political parties criticized the ruling National Conference (NC) to “ruin” the youth, indicating the cancellation of the examination.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) announced the cancellation of the written test and said they would be held AFRESH.

In one order, JKSSB said that the OMR-based written examination was scheduled from 11.00 am on Sunday at 35 examination places in Jammu and Srinagar. However, due to weather -related exclusion, the time was re -determined by 12.00 noon. The examination was successfully conducted at 34 places, but could not be held at one place.

The order stated, “In view of the above, it has been decided by the Board to cancel the OMR-based examination for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical), Power Development Department, which has been held on 24.08.2025 and will be operated.”

The latest dates for the exam will be reported separately, it will be added.

Earlier, social media was removed from floods with video, which was trying to answer questions from the testing for junior engineer (electrical) posts to the candidates outside the examination hall at Kothi Bagh Higher Secondary School. Many people claimed that the question paper was available on social media before the examination.

Subsequently, protests took place outside the Center against Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).

Political parties directed their IRE in the neck, stating that the paper leak represents a “jerk” for JK’s youth.

PDP said in a post on X, “After banning books and locking schools, the sale of SSB exam papers by the government is still another setback for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

PDP leader and MLA Pulwama Wahid Para said, “Scam after the scam, and now another SSB paper leakage. Students are trying to solve problems openly, yet after banning books and locking schools, the government’s examination papers are another blow to the youth of J&C.”

Another PDP leader Ieltija Mufti slammed the Nekan government to “ruin” the future of the youth who had their faith in the party.

“The youth of J&K had a huge faith in the neck, they were expected to transparency in the recruitment examinations after the election. But I am noticing how the Nek government is ruining its future because also to conduct today’s JE power examination in Kothi rebellion center,”

Mufti said that instead of promoting transparency, today’s paper leak shows that this government is becoming a den “.

Sajad Lone, the head of the People’s Conference, called the paper leak ‘Brezen Dellite Dacoity’ in the recruitment.

“We have finally made it. We are at the top of scams. This recruitment is not less than a Brezen Dellite Robbery in recruitment. Will anyone please tell us what is happening?” He said in a post on X.

Lone alleged that candidates for JE Electrical Exams were initially asked to leave the examination hall as the paper was canceled. He claimed that some students continued the exam, and later, all of them were requested to return again.

“Paper is well on social media, before the candidates are ready to take the exam. Will the heads rolls, or will we complete another round of third -class story?” Lone, who is also an MLA from Handwara, inquired.

The ruling NC Lok Sabha MP Aga Ruhullah commented that this was the “collapse” of the JKSSB system, and convicted the administration of the Lieutenant Governor.

Ruhulla said in a post on X, “This is a direct result of a debris supervision by an unrelated and unacceptable establishment.”

He claimed that “scams starting under the so -called LG watch have not stopped”.

He said, “Instead of protecting the future of our youth, books are being banned and schools have been taken away; the unresolved issue of reservation is taking another toll on the future of the youth,” he said.

The MP from Srinagar called upon the elected government to assure his role and approach, as “the current path is thwarting our youth and our identity”.
