JKSA has urged CM Omar Abdullah to create a reservation report of the public cabinet sub-committee

The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association on Tuesday urged Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Education Minister Sakina Itu to immediately make public the report of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the rationalization of reservation.

The national spokesperson of the association, Farhat Riyaz said in a statement, “The lack of a certain deadline for the cabinet meeting increases the concerns about the intentions of the government. The government’s ‘Tarek Pe Tarek’ approach has become the identity of inactivity.”

The association requested Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to call an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss the recommendations of the report, which ensures timely implementation. “The ongoing delay is unacceptable and threatens the future of thousands of students, increasing their anxiety and uncertainty,” Farhat insisted.

“We demand that the Education Minister provides a clear time for the release of the report.

The association’s media coordinator Krishna Saparo said, “Every day job information is being released, it is important to disclose the findings of the report, especially given the general category part. The government made a clear and time-time commitment that within six months, there is nothing.

He said, “The cabinet meeting should have been determined to match with the full date of six months. It only seems like a delay strategy. Transparency and lack of accountability are destroying faith in the government. We demand to answer: What information the government is reluctant to share?

Saparo said, “We demand immediate action and transparency in this matter. The future of the students hangs in balance, and we will not remain silent.
