The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Sunday announced the postponement of two-year-old examinations for classes 10th and 11th classes prescribed for August 18, 2025 in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
An official told Rising Kashmir that the decision was taken after closing all schools in Kathua ordered by the District Magistrate after cloudburst and adverse weather conditions in the district.
The official said, “The latest dates will be reported separately. All the Center Superintendents and SHOs of the jurisdiction are requested to be informed accordingly,” the official said.
He further directed all the subdivision sub-and branch authorities to wide the notification widely, including the official WhatsApp groups to ensure that all concerned stakeholders reach.
