J&K Traffic Police released traffic advisor for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025

Srinagar, June 28: To ensure the smooth movement of the trip and the smooth movement of the yatras, the Traffic Police Jammu and Kashmir issued a detailed advice for the initial cut off timing for the Yatra Kevy/Yatris for Sri Amarnath Ji Yatra -2025.

According to the advisor, the time has been cut for the departure from Jammu to Kashmir for the UP Baltal convoy. The departure from Lambar (Banihal) towards Baltal is 1000hrs; The departure from Manigam Genderbal towards Baltal is 1700hrs.

For the Baltal convoy below, the departure from Baltal towards Jammu is 0600hRS and is 1130HRS departing from Lamber towards Jammu.
For the Pahgam convoy, the cut -off timing is 0430HRS for departure from Jammu towards Pahgam and 1100hrs departing from Lamber (Banihal) towards Pahgam.

For Pahalgam convoy below, cut off timing for departure from Pahgam to Jammu is 0600hrs; Departing from Nanwan is Pahgam 0630HRS towards Jammu and departing from Lamber (Banihal) to Jammu is 0800hRS.

Regarding the cut-off timing from the navig tunnel to the navig tunnel and vice versa for non-convoy/yatris/tourists, the advisor states that from Jammu to Pahgam (in addition to the main convoy coming from Jammu), the cut off 1500hrs and final vehicles for the final vehicle to cross the Navig Tunnel towards the valley, which is to cross the Mir Baijer.

From Baltal to Navig Tunnel (in addition to the main convoy leaving from Jammu to Baltal at 0600 am, Jammu Bound), the cut off timing for the final vehicle to leave the Baltal Base Camp from Manigam is 0900hrs; Manigam cut off timing is 1000hrs to cross Sonamarg P/S for the final vehicle; Last vehicle to cross the Manigam Transit Camp towards Shedepora/Sumbal in 1200hrs; The final vehicle to cross Shaipora/ Shaipora is the last vehicle 1500hRS to cross the Automobiles on 1300hrs and cross the Panth Chowk towards Anantnag.

Nanwan, from Pahgam to Nevug Tunnel (apart from the main convoy from Nanwan to 0630 am), the cut off timing for the final vehicle to cross Nunwan towards Jammu is 1000hrs.

From Mir Bazaar to Navy Tunnel (apart from the main convoy from Pahgam and Nunwan from Nunwan at 0630 pm), the cut -off timing for the final vehicle to cross the Mir Bazaar towards Nevug Tunnel is 1700hrs and the last vehicle to move the final vehicle towards the Navy Tunnel.

The UP vehicle (apart from the convoy) from Jammu to Kashmir Valley, Nagrota (Jammu) has a cut off timing 1200hrs; Jakhani (Udampur) has a time cut of 1300hrs and Chanderkot has a time cut 1400hRs and the time cuts in the lamber, Banihahal 1500hRs.

Regarding the General Cut Off Timing, the advisory says that no Yatri/tourist vehicle will be allowed to cross the Navig tunnel towards Kashmir after 1500 pm; No Yatri/tourist vehicle will be allowed from Pahgam towards Jammu/Srinagar after 1530 pm; After 1600hrs, no Yatri/tourist vehicle will be allowed from Sonamarg towards Srinagar;

After 1700hrs, no tourist vehicle will be allowed from Gulmarg towards Srinagar and no tourist vehicle will be allowed from Srinagar to Gulmarg after 1700 pm.

Yatris/tourists have been advised to travel in the Kashmir Valley between only 0700 am and 1800 pm and they should plan their journey accordingly, so that they reach their destination within this time period.

After the return of ROP, IE at 1800 pm, no further movement will be allowed to any vehicle of passenger/tourist. The concerned police/traffic/SFS has been directed to bring such vehicles to the nearest passenger/SFS camp.

It is reported that this advice is only valid for Yatris/Yatra convoy/tourists. For other HMVs/LMVS/SFS convoy, people have been asked to mention the daily traffic advisor issued by the traffic police.
