Srinagar, Aug 04: For considerable relief in pending electrical outstanding houses, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has officially extended the Amnesty Scheme for domestic consumers till 31 March 2026.
According to 2025 official order number 114-JKPDD, the expansion issued by the Electricity Development Department will already be controlled by similar terms and conditions stated in the order of order number 47-JKPDD of 2022 order number 103-PDD and 2024. A notable for the revised scheme.
The decision to expand the scheme was approved by the Council of Council on 29 July through the decision number 074/14/2025, and today was formally informed by the concerned department.
The Power Development Department has made it clear in this order that no detail of Amnesty will be given even further from March 31, 2026.
