J&K Govt asked all officials to attend Independence Day celebrations in Srinagar, Jammu

Jammu, July 29: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has directed all officers and officials posted in Srinagar and Jammu to participate in the main Independence Day celebrations on August 15 as part of their official duty.
According to a circular issued by the General Administration Department, the main tasks will be held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar and Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu.
“Any absence will not be allowed without prior permission,” read the circular.
For example, administrative secretaries, heads of departments and public sector officials have been asked to ensure complete participation of employees under their control.
