Adding another different wing to its digital cap, J&K Bank has emerged as a prominent winner in the iconic IBA CISO Summit and Ceits – 2025, creating four top honors in the private sector (medium size) category for excellence in cyber security and flexibility. The theme of the event was ‘to elevate cyber flexibility: defense, adaptation and thrive’.
At the summit, the bank won four major awards, including Cyber Safety Change, Cyber Security Compliance Champion Awards and the Cyber Security Team of the Year Awards, besides a special award for the cyber security incident reaction. Awards honored by the Indian Banks Association (IBA) in Mumbai recognized the bank’s relevant and strong efforts to increase its cyber security currency, protect customer data and institutionalize safe digital banking practices.
Siso Munier Hasan Kongavani of the bank received awards in the hands of the jury last week, including NCIIPC/Ex CGM/Group CISO (SBI) Anil Bhandari, CEO (Cyber Security Center, Telangana – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI – DSCI and Chief Market Information Officer (NPCI) Deputy Chief Executive Information Officer (NPCI) Deputy Chief Executive Officer (NPCI) Deputy Chief Executive Officer (NPCI) Deputy Chief Executive Officer (NPAI) Murali Bhagat and Senior Advisor (IBA) Srinivasa Rao were also present on the occasion.
MD & CEO Amitawa Chatterjee congratulated and appreciated the bank’s IT and appreciated the teams for the achievement in the presence of Executive Director Sudhir Gupta and General Managers.
