Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the government has made significant progress on the three key goals outlined last year for the financial system.
These goals include the creation of a fit-for-purpose regulatory framework, maintaining strong and resilient banks, and fostering more innovation and competition across the sector.
“In our first year in government, we’ve acted in and advanced on all three,” Mr Chalmers said at a press release on Wednesday.
