Jeep Compass Track Edition launched in India with limited units at ₹26.78 lakh

Jeep India has launched a limited edition Compass Track version of the SUV, with prices starting at Rs 26.78 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the Compass Model S, the new variant is now available for booking and immediate delivery.

Variant-wise ex-showroom prices:

• Compass Track Edition MT – 26.78 lakh
• Compass Track Edition AT – 28.64 lakh
• Compass Track Edition 4×4 AT – 30.58 lakh

Track version price is approx Rs 30,000-33,000 more than equivalent Model S trims.

On the exterior, the Compass Track Edition gets a new hood decal, piano black detailing on the grille and badges and a Track Edition badge. It comes with new 18-inch diamond-cut Tech Gray alloy wheels.

Inside, it gets Tupelo leatherette seats, smoke chrome finish, spruce beige stitching, Tupelo vinyl accents with embossed Jeep branding and Track Edition floor mats. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather.

The SUV retains features from the Model S trim, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 8-way electronically adjustable ventilated front seats with memory and an Alpine sound system.

Safety features include ESC, ABS with EBD, hill start assist and rain brake assist.

Powering the Compass Track Edition is a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It is offered with a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic gearbox, with a 4×4 system available on the automatic.
