RCB vs RR IPL 2024 was a close affair. It looked like Rajasthan Royals might have it easy after they restricted Royal Challengers Bangalore to 172/8 in 20 overs. At one point they were taking the lead, but due to a flurry of wickets in the middle overs, RR faltered as they got closer to the target. The most important wicket to fall was that of RR captain Sanju Samson.
After Yashasvi Jaiswal was out for 45 runs, it was the responsibility of Samson to take his team forward. But he was out in the 11th over. Samson (17, 13b) was stumped while chasing a wide delivery from Karn Sharma. The RR captain danced on the track but Karn showed cleverness and blasted the ball into the sunlight. The dismissal was celebrated by RCB players as well as Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor, who was present at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The internet was quick to react and even pointed the finger at his attire, which had the symbol of the ODI World Cup trophy on it.

The 33-year-old is the leading wicket-taker for Royal Challengers Bangalore with 139 wickets. On Wednesday, he became the leading wicket-taker for Rajasthan Royals after taking his 66th wicket for the franchise against his former team.
During the eliminator encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chahal got the wicket of Virat Kohli and became the leading wicket-taker for RR in the IPL.
In the 8th over, Chahal increased the problems for RCB by catching a big fish. Kohli went for the favorite slog-sweep, bowling it towards deep mid-wicket. He timed his shot and the ball went into the hands of fielder Donovan Ferreira, who positioned himself within a few inches of the ropes and took a good catch.
Donovan’s catch helped Chahal take his 66th wicket for the Royals. He overtook Siddharth Trivedi’s figure of 65 to become the leading wicket-taker for the franchise.
Chahal ended his spell on an expensive note with figures of 1/43. In his last over, he kept it tight and gave just three singles in the first five balls. Lomror slog-swept him for a six on the last ball.
After Siddharth, Shane Watson is the third-highest wicket-taker for RR in the IPL with 61 wickets.
