Jammu-Srinagar National Highway Ramban closed due to Madslide at Chamba Seri

The lonely route link connecting the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, Kashmir Valley to the rest of the country was closed on Thursday morning amid the rainy season.

Officials told GNS that vehicles traffic on Jammu -Srinagar National Highway (NH -44) has been temporarily suspended due to a mudslide at Chamba Seri in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday after rainy season. This morning the highway has been blocked in both directions as the debris fell on the road, which blocked the way. Clearance work is going on.
