Jammu and Kashmir shine in All India Shikha Samagam 2025, New Delhi

New Delhi, July 29, KDC: The prestigious All India Shikha Samagam 2025 Today was held in the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, with a vision to carry forward the transformational goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The event was inaugurated with an address by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Prime Minister, who emphasized the Center’s commitment for inclusive and innovative education in India.

From the central region of Jammu and Kashmir, the Minister of Education, Social Welfare, Health and Medical Education, Sakna Itu participated in the event. He is the Secretary School Education, Jammu, Kashmir, Ram Nevas Sharma, Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Dr. Gun Itu, SPD Committee Shiksha and two UT Topper Students of Inspire Standard Awards HSS Pahlu, Kulgam, J&K.

In conversation with the media during the program, many parents expressed praise for active efforts for the Sangh and J&K governments to spread awareness about NEP 2020, especially through the ground -level initiative.

In its comment, Sakeena iToo appreciated the committed efforts of higher officials and heads of institutions (HOI) to ensure collective participation in the “NEP Fair – Paigam”, which was held in the length and width of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the initiative has successfully conveyed the message of NEP 2020 to students, teachers and communities.

Secretary School Education, J&K, Ram Niwas Sharma reiterated the government’s strong resolution for effective and timely implementation of NEP 2020 in the Center area. According to national vision, he focused on quality, inclusion and innovation in education.

Dr. GN Itu, Director School Education Kashmir, who also participated in Samagam, closely monitored the conduct of NEP Fair 2025 from New Delhi to Kashmir.

Talking to the media, Dr. Itu said that under the title ‘Pigam’, a comprehensive mega program was organized to spread awareness about NEP 2020 in Jammu and Kashmir. In the Kashmir Valley alone, around 400 programs were held, more than 42,000 students, 3,000+ teachers and participation with heads of institutions were seen. “

The NEP fair included focused debate, discussion and cultural programs around NEP 2020, which aims to empower learners and teachers with knowledge and spirit of policy.

The participation of top officials and young recipients of J&K on the National Stage underlines the active and appreciated role of the region in changing its educational ecosystem under the vision of NEP 2020. (KDC)
