Security forces arrested four terrorist associates and dismantled a module of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Srinagar on Saturday, police said.
Srinagar police and security forces today arrested four terrorist associates and dismantled a major terror outfit linked to the banned terror organization JeM, a police spokesperson said.
The spokesman said that based on specific information, a joint mobile vehicle checkpoint (MVCP) was set up this evening in the Kenihama area of Nogam, a suburb of the city.

During the inspection, security forces intercepted a vehicle and arrested four terrorist associates, the spokesman said.
He identified them as Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, Sheraz Ahmadrath and Gulam Hassan Khandey, all from Lchnambal Zafran Colony Pantha Chowk while Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat was a resident of Frestabal Pamppore.
The spokesman said that the police seized criminal materials, weapons and ammunition, including an AK 56 rifle with three magazines and 75 rounds of 7.62 x 39 mm bullets, and an AK 56 rifle with two magazines and 26 rounds of 9 mm bullets. Glock pistol and six Chinese hand grenades.
He said that during the preliminary investigation, it was found that the arrested persons were related to the banned terrorist organization JeM.
The spokesman said a case has been registered under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Arms Act and the International Criminal Court and further investigation is underway.
