Jaguar Land Rover A cyber phenomenon has been “severely interrupted” which has targeted its vehicle production and retail services.
The car manufacturer said that “immediate action” took place to reduce the effects of hack, and is currently working to resume operations.
Currently there is no evidence that any customer data has been stolen.

A statement by the firm wrote: “JLR is affected by a cyber phenomenon. We took immediate action to reduce its effect by closing our system.
“We are now working in pace to restart our global applications in a controlled manner.
“There is no evidence at this level that any customer data has been stolen, but our retail and production activities have been severely interrupted.”
It is not yet known who is responsible for the attack, and comes in view of several cyber attacks against major companies, including Marx and Spencer, Co-Op and Herods.
As Liverpool Eco, The car manufacturer’s Mercyside factory has been closed and workers have been asked not to come inside.
Tata motorsWho owns JLR, has also reported that it is called the global “IT event” in the Indian Stock Exchange.
This is another blow to the luxury car manufacturer after the sales recession and after a hit from the American trade tariff.
The group recorded a decline of 49.4 percent in its first quarter by the end of June by the end of June.
