jack white Criticized a Republican congressman for sharing a misleading video of a rock star generated by artificial intelligence.

Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett retweeted a fake video in which White, who lives in Nashville, appears to say: “You fascists, don’t even think about listening to my music.”

Although the video was explicitly edited, Burchett responded to the video on wednesday adams.

“Can you believe that a member of the United States Congress, yes a congressman (from my state), a once sacred and revered position in our society, would retweet an AI-generated video containing false comments that I never said and refute (without research, I might add), and add content to it that attempts to insult my appearance like a 10-year-old on the playground?” whiteBurchett, 50, posted on Instagram along with screenshots of the excavation site.

“What kind of joke are we all living in right now? Trump lackeys and sycophants like this elected official are cowards who would never speak this way to someone like me or you. Trump really lowered the bar when he brought disaster to this administration. Neither he nor his sycophantic congressmen and women display class or dignity, they all just regurgitate cheap, childish, grade-school bully views and fake Christian(!) rhetoric.”

He continued, “It’s really sad how embarrassing our leadership has become, and I really wish the average American conservative would have a brief conversation with any smart person in the rest of the world to see what a big joke our government (and our country) has become.”

Burchett said in a statement The Independent, “Of course I know this is artificial intelligence. Apparently satire is dead. You’d think that someone with as much free time as Jack White would focus on more important things – like Johnny Paycheck not being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, which is a bigger injustice. “

White is no stranger to criticizing the Trump administration. Earlier this year, the musician insulted Trump’s “disgusting” and “vulgar” golden theme oval office redecoratewhich triggers Discord with the White House Trump’s White House communications director responded by calling him a “washed-out loser” who “masquerades as a true artist.”
