However, after the finale aired on Monday, April 8, many viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their displeasure.

One netizen commented: “There must be one more episode of “The Passenger”, why did it end like this without an ending?” There was a tag next to it that said “#wewantanswers”.

Another added: “Too many ideas fighting for limited space. The core mystery established in the pilot was only half solved by the end. So much potential, so little reward.”

A third user questioned the entire ending, asking: “Can someone please explain what just happened?” one confused fan asked. “What a garbage ending. No answers at all, if any, and more questions.”
