Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hailed India and the UAE as “partners of progress” and said the country was proud of every Indian living in the UAE.

“Our partnership continues to strengthen in all areas and reaches new heights. India hopes that our partnership will strengthen day by day,” he said.

Addressing the Indian community at the ‘Alain Modi’ event, Modi said: “India and the UAE are partners in continuous progress. Our relationship is one of talent, innovation and culture.”

He told the Indian community here that India was proud of them and it was time to celebrate the friendship between the two countries.

After delivering “Namaste” to thousands of spectators who chanted “Modi, Modi” at Zayed Sports City Stadium at Zayed Sports City Stadium, Prime Minister Modi said the community event He was moved by the enthusiasm.

Prime Minister Modi said: “You have come here in such large numbers and written a history. You may come from different parts of the UAE and different states of India, but everyone is connected by heart.”

Prime Minister Modi said at the event which began with the national anthems of both countries, “It is time to celebrate the friendship between India and the UAE. In this historic stadium, the same sentiment echoes with every heartbeat – Bharat -Long live UAE friendship.” .

“The memory of today will always be with me because I came here to meet my family,” he said.

“I am here to convey a message to my brothers and sisters of 1.4 billion people in India that India is proud of you,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi recalled his first visit to the UAE in 2015, when he was new to the central government and it was the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the UAE in thirty years.

“This is my seventh visit to the UAE in ten years,” Prime Minister Modi said. “I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi said he was lucky to receive the Zayed Medal, the UAE’s highest civilian award.

“This is not only an honor for me but also for 1.4 billion Indians,” he said. The Prime Minister said the UAE is now India’s third largest trading partner and seventh largest investor.

“Both countries are working hard to improve the convenience of life and ease of doing business,” he added.

Prime Minister Modi said: “Today, every Indian aims to make India a developed country by 2047. Our India is witnessing strong economic growth and it is our India that leads the world in many aspects.”

“It is because of my confidence in the capabilities of every Indian that I have guaranteed that India will become the world’s third largest economy for the third time and Modi’s guarantee means a guarantee that this guarantee will be delivered,” he added.
