Light rain occurred in many parts of the national capital late Tuesday night.
Fresh rain was seen in areas like Mandi House, RK Puram, Indraprastha Road, Bhairon Marg near Nizamuddin flyover, Dutta Path etc.

According to IMD, light to moderate rain or snowfall is likely at most places in Chamba districts in Himachal Pradesh.
“Light to moderate rainfall/snowfall at most places with isolated heavy falls very likely over Chamba, Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur districts. Earlier on Monday, Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a sudden drop in temperature due to rain.
The temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 2 degrees Celsius on Monday. Whereas the temperature in Gulmarg was recorded below minus 2.9 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, a resident welcomed the rain and said it would provide some relief to farmers and also reduce pollution in the city.
The weather department has issued an extended rainfall warning for the entire region, predicting light to moderate rain and snowfall in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir till Wednesday.
