Tel Aviv, Israel:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that a date had been set for an offensive on the city of Rafah, which Israel says is one of Hamas’s last strongholds in Gaza.
He did not say when the invasion would take place but reiterated that defeating Hamas “requires entering Rafah and eliminating the terrorist camps there. This will happen – there is a date,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.
