Israeli military suspends senior officer involved in attack on Gaza aid convoy

The Israeli military has suspended two senior officers involved in an airstrike on a Gaza food charity’s convoy, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday.

The IDF said in a tweet that the brigade’s fire support commander and brigade chief of staff had been relieved of their duties. Elsewhere, more commanders were blamed for an Israeli airstrike that killed seven staff members of the Gaza food charity World Central Kitchen.
