The Israeli military launched multiple air strikes on many towns in southern Lebanon, including in the Nabatiyah governorate. The strike in southern villages, including Adshit, Sawwaneh and Shihabiyeh, took place further into the country than most previous strikes. The Lebanese Civil Defense said that the Israeli attack killed 4 people and injured 11 others. The Israeli military launched the airstrikes following a deadly attack on the Lebanese city of Safed earlier on February 14. The attack also came after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah threatened on February 13 to wipe Israel off the map. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said heavy shelling was taking place near the Amal hospital in Khan Younis. Spain and Ireland have asked the EU to “urgently” review Israel’s compliance with its human rights obligations in Gaza. Watch this video for the latest updates on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
