US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that it was up to Iran to decide whether the B -2 bombers’ American movement was a message for Tehran recently, as he expected that the US -Iran conversation on Tehran’s nuclear program could be resolved peacefully.
Six B -2 bombers were transferred to an American -British military base on the Indian Ocean Island in Diego Garcia in March, US authorities told Reuters that amidst the US bombing campaign in Yemen and increasing tension with Iran.
There are only 20 B -2 bombers in the Air Force list, so they are usually used in moderation.
