Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, is about to visit India, the Iranian embassy in India shared information in a post on X on Monday.
According to the embassy, the Iranian Foreign Minister will visit India after a stop in Islamabad, where he will interact with Pakistani officials.

The top diplomat is ready to participate in the Joint Economic Commission, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Exmail Bakai said in a press briefing in Tehran, as reported by the State Media IRNA.
On 25 April, the Iranian Foreign Minister gave a call for peace in the neighborhood in a post on X. From his personal account, Argchi called India and Pakistan as the most important priority.
His call for peace was targeted by Pahlgam of Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, killing 26 people.
He shared that Tehran stands “ready” to use his good offices in Islamabad and New Delhi to “understand more in this difficult time”.
He wrote on X, “India and Pakistan are brother-in-law of Iran, enjoying the relations contained in centuries-old cultural and civilized relations. Like other neighbors, we consider them their most important priority.

After the Pahalgam attack, India has strongly protested against Pakistan to support terrorism across the cross-limit.
At the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23 April, India decided to hold the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty in 1960 in the 1960s, until Pakistan reliably and unchanged ends its support for terrorism and closes the unified attitty -post post.
