iQoo Z9 Turbo launching soon; key specs tipped

iQoo Z9 Turbo is expected to be launched soon. It is expected to join the iQoo Z9 5G which was launched in India on March 12. Turbo models, due to their moniker, may have upgraded features over the regular models available. The company is yet to confirm this high-end model. However, a tipster has revealed some key specifications of the alleged iQoo Z9 Turbo. Details like the chipset, display, and battery have been revealed, along with a launch date.

Tipster digital chat station claimed in Weibo postal iQoo is likely to be developing the iQoo Z9 Turbo. They added that the alleged model may come with a 1.5K resolution display, which is 2,712 x 1,220 pixels.

In addition, the tipster also added that the iQoo Z9 Turbo model may be V2352A and is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which will be released on March 18. The phone may also come with a 6,000mAh battery.

In comparison, the base version of the iQoo Z9 5G comes with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging. It has 8GB RAM, up to 256GB onboard storage, and comes with FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.

In terms of optics, the iQoo Z9 5G’s dual rear camera unit includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with support for optical image stabilization (OIS) along with a 2-megapixel depth shooter. The front camera of the phone houses a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone also has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.

The iQoo Z9 5G is available in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue color options and is priced starting at Rs 100 in India. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999 and the 8GB + 256GB configuration is priced at Rs 19,999. 21,999.
