iQoo Z9 Turbo 144Hz display, 6,000mAh battery to be launched today

The launch date of iQoo Z9 Turbo in China has been officially confirmed. Several details about the upcoming phone have surfaced online over the past few weeks. iQoo also recently revealed the design of the phone. This much-anticipated model will be unveiled alongside the iQoo Z9 5G, which was launched in India in March this year. The iQoo Z9 Turbo launch in India is yet to be revealed. The phone is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

in a weibo postaliQoo said that the iQoo Z9 Turbo will be launched in China at 7 pm local time on April 24 (4:30 pm US Standard Time).The same details have also been updated on mobile phones login page On the iQoo China website.

The iQoo Z9 Turbo has previously been confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It will have a 6,000mAh battery and a 1.5K 144Hz display. The thickness of the phone is 7.89 mm. It also features a dual rear camera unit with the main sensor supporting OIS.

Meanwhile, the iQoo Z9 Turbo has been teased to come in silver color with a glossy finish. On the back, two camera sensors can be seen placed inside a square camera module with rounded edges at the top left corner. An oval LED flash unit is placed vertically next to this slightly raised module. The power button and volume rocker appear on the right edge of the phone.

The iQoo Z9 Turbo is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display, 50-megapixel primary rear sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It may be available in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants and support 80W wired fast charging. The phone is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
