Aland Congress MLA Bra Patil from Aland constituency in Kalaburagi district has complained that in his constituency, the names of 6,670 voters were demolished in 256 polling booths in the Election Commission. When the EC was examined, it was found that applications were received from government websites, who were asking to leave their names from the list of voters. Amidst these requests, EC verified that 24 applications were processed and the names were removed.
However, Kas officer Mamath Kumari lodged a complaint with the Alnd Police Station that when the remaining 5,994 applications were verified, individuals with different objectives submitted applications without knowledge of real voters using different mobile phone numbers.
