Srinagar, May 23: The officials and officers of the Joint Directorate of Information, Kashmir have expressed deep grief over the death of Mohammad Sultan Bhat, the former block officer of the department, who died after suffering from a stroke on Friday morning.
In this regard, a condolence meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Joint Director’s information Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, here to pray for the soul of the departed in his office room and show solidarity with the sad family.
During the meeting, the Joint Director prayed for the peace of the departed soul and gave strength to the bereaved family to bear this deep loss.
Along with Deputy Director Information and PR, Ahsanul Haq Chishti, Cultural Officer Burhan Hussain, also expressed their condolences to the unexpected passage of his former colleague, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his sympathy towards the mourning family.
Other officials within the department also expressed their deep condolences and prayed for the highest place for the departed soul in Janat -ul -Firedos. (KDC)
