Infinix Note 40 5G series India launch confirmed: Everything you need to know

The Infinix Note 40 5G series will be launched globally on March 18. The company is yet to confirm the models that will be released in the series. Going by previous leaks, we can expect a base Infinix Note 40, Note 40 Pro 4G, Note 40 Pro 5G and top-of-the-line Note 40 Pro+ 5G models. Some of these phones were previously spotted on multiple certification websites, which also provided some key specifications of the phones. Now, the company has also confirmed the launch of the Infinix Note 40 series in India.

The Infinix Note 40 5G series will be launched in India soon, the company confirmed through a press conference. However, the company is yet to announce the launch timetable or even the name of the model that will be launched in the Indian market. The official teaser on YouTube shows off a phone with a shimmering gold finish and a rectangular rear camera unit. Here, the company also teased ‘AI Active Halo Lighting’, claiming that the series will be the first in India to offer the feature.

Active Halo is an AI-powered feature that integrates voice commands and other features with lighting effects, the company explains. It can be used to match incoming calls, notifications, charging, games, music playback, and interact with the “Hi Folax” voice assistant. With the “Hi Folax” wake phrase, users can use “Active Halo” commands and customize its functionality.

The “Active Halo” feature features three customizable lighting effects – Lively, Rhythm and Artificial Intelligence. Users can use them to match their mood and preferences. It can be customized with vivid animations for certain notifications, a rhythmic display for music playback, or different modes to indicate incoming calls.

While nothing is known about the Indian variant of the Infinix Note 40 series, the global models tease Launched 3D curved AMOLED display.The company also owns comfirmed “MagKit, the ultimate mobile magnetic solution” for all upcoming Note 40 phones worldwide.
