Bengaluru: Responding to the development of the Blackbuck Company about the plan to go out of the outer ring road (ORR) area in Bangalore at the infrastructure of the poor road, the leaders of the information technology industry on Wednesday raised concerns and appealed to the Karnataka government to address the situation with active measures.

Padma Shri Awardee Mohandas Pai and Bioocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw reacted to this development on Wednesday and in a social media post, Pai tagged Karnataka’s sub-soul DK Shivkumar, who is also the Minister of Bangalore Development and expressed displeasure and appealed to find solutions to improve the Bengaluru Road.

Former Infosys CFO Pai said, “Large failure of governance in Bengaluru. Please see, going out of Cos Orr.

While reposting Pai’s post, Majumdar-Shaw said, “It is serious. Emergency measures are required to correct these issues.”

Rajesh Yawaji, co-founder and CEO of Blandur or Stretch in Bangalore, Rajesh Yaji, disappointed the condition of roads in the ORR Stretch announced on Tuesday that his company would exit the region. However, Yabji did not disclose where the office would be transferred.

Taking the X, Rajesh Yawaji said, “Or Bellandur is our office and home for the last 9 years. But, now it has become very difficult to continue here, we have decided to go out.”

I emphasized that ORR stretch is important because lakhs of people work there. They have also spoken to the stakeholders about the matter. However, only minor works are being taken, and no proper planning has been done.”

“The state government has a budget of Rs 4 lakh crore, so why is this stretch of the road still in a bad condition?

Dye Shivkumar, who is reacting to the poor condition of the roads in Bengaluru, said, “I am given a deadline to fill the pits and submit a report in writing. The commissioners are instructed to share their morning round information in the city.”
