India’s satellite network will probably be the fastest in the world: Jyotiradityta Scindia

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday expressed confidence that India’s satellite telecom network would be the fastest in the world.

Many players have already obtained licenses by issuing rules for administrative assignments with India’s Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI).

Skindia satellite network rollouts estimate the fastest to be the fastest at the global, which is inspired by increasing demand and technological progress.

“Now we are looking at the new technology of satellite telecommunications. Satellite technology is complementary to our service book. Tri -TRAI has come up with its rules for administrative assignments. Many players have taken advantage of a license, and I am confident that this rollout on satellite network will probably be the fastest in the world which will be the fastest in the coming years.”

Recently, Airtel and Jio participated with Starlinks to bring later high -speed satellite internet services to their customers in India.

Starlink is still waiting for the official authority from the Indian regulatory bodies, including the Department of In-Space and Telecommunications.

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met a delegation of Elon Musk -owned satellite internet services company Starlink on 16 April.

“Discussion covered Starlink’s state -of -the -art technology platform, his current participation in India and future investment plans,” Minister Goyal wrote on X, after the meeting.

Satellite technology will complement existing mobile services, increase connectivity in remote areas where traditional telecom services are expensive.

Satellite telecom in India will help the country provide very important services at remote internal places where traditional telecom services are expensive.

The Indian satellite broadband market is expected to reach US $ 1.9 billion by 2030, making it an attractive opportunity for players like Starlink and Amazon Kuper.

In particular, India has become a global leader in digital transactions, in which UPI applications facilitate 46% of the world’s digital transactions.

“Thrust is on rural connectivity, which will push India forward. Today, India has become the capital of digital transactions worldwide. Our UPI application has resulted in 46 percent of the world’s digital transactions, which is close to 1.7 2 billion transactions, causing 2.85 trillion USD per year.

He said, “We have done a very detailed study. According to what has come out in the context of TRAI rules, it is my honesty that all our Telco providers will carry forward the price chain in terms of quality of service, not to international benchmarks, but beyond the international benchmark.”
