Addressing the air warriors at Bhuj Air Force Station in Gujarat on Friday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “India’s fight against terrorism is not only a matter of security, it has now become part of the national defense theory, and we will root out this hybrid and proxy warfare.”
He said that the current ceasefire means that India has put Pakistan on probation on the basis of its behavior. If the behavior improves, it is fine; But if there is any disturbance, then harsh punishment will be given, he said.
The Defense Minister clarified that Operation Sindoor is not over yet. “Our tasks were just a trailer, we will show the full picture, if needed.” Attacking and ending terrorism is the new norm of New India, “he said.
Saying that Pakistan has again started rebuilding its terrorist infrastructure destroyed by India, Singh called upon the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to reconsider Islamabad a billion-dollar aid and avoid any assistance in future.
“Pakistan will spend to pay around Rs 14 crore to the tax collected from its citizens, which to give about Rs 14 crore to Masood Azhar, the head of the Jai-e-Mohammed terrorist organization, even though it is a-managed terrorist. The Pakistan government has also announced financial assistance to rebuild the infrastructure of Lashar-E-Tab and Jish terror.
The Defense Minister also said that a large part of the loan given by the IMF will be used to fund terrorist infrastructure.
“Certainly, a large part of the IMF’s aid of a billion dollar assistance will be used to fund terrorist infrastructure. Will it be considered indirect funding by an IMF, an international organization? No financial aid to Pakistan is not less than terrorist funding. India should not use funds, India should not use funds directly or indirectly, to create wisdom in other countries,”
He appreciated the effective role played by the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Operation Sindoor. Appreciating the air warriors to eliminate terrorist camps in Pakistan and poke in just 23 minutes, he said that “when the missiles were dropped inside the enemy’s territory, the world also heard the valor of India and the echoes on India’s valor and also.”
He said that IAF gave rise to this campaign against terrorism, and during the operation, it not only dominated the enemy, but also reduced them.
Singh highlighted that India’s fighter aircraft are capable of killing every corner of Pakistan without crossing the border.
“The world has seen how IAF destroyed terrorist camps and later Pakistan’s airbase. IAF gave evidence that India’s war policy and technology had changed. They have expressed the message of New India that we are not just dependent on weapons and platforms, but have been made in India’s equipment.
He further said that Pakistan has accepted the power of the ‘BrahMos’ missile. Missiles in India showed Pakistan daylight in the dark of night, said, “Appreciating India’s air defense system, in which Akash and other radar systems created by DRDO have played a tremendous role.”
On Thursday, on a conversation with the brave Indian Army soldiers at Badami Bagh Cantt in Srinagar, and today air warriors and soldiers in Bhuj said that they are once again convinced that India’s borders are completely safe. He said, “I have seen the highest level of enthusiasm and patriotism between the soldiers on both fronts. What our forces did during the operation have filled the country proudly,” he said.
The Defense Minister said that BHUJ is a witness to India’s victory over Pakistan in 1965, 1971 and now. He told Bhuj as a land of patriotism, where the soldiers stand long with an unwavering resolution to protect national interests. He thanked the Air Warriors and other brave soldiers and BSF of the Armed Forces for his service to the motherland.
Repeating the government’s commitment to continuously equip the armed forces with the latest weapons/platforms and modern infrastructure, Rajnath Singh said that a strong nation respects its army and provides it with resources, technology and every support. He said that earlier, India was very much dependent on imports, but today it is indigenously manufacturing equipment such as artillery systems, radar systems, missile shields, drones and counter drones. “We are becoming exporters from importers; and this is just the beginning,” he said.
Singh said that the people of India, government, armed forces and other security agencies displayed unity and understanding in this fight against terrorism, each citizen participated like a soldier.
He said that the government and people are standing shoulder to shoulder with their forces at every step, expressing confidence that “together, we will completely eradicate terrorism from the region, and no one dared to put a bad eye on the sovereignty of the nation”.
Singh started his address by paying homage to the lost innocent life in Pahalgam and the soldiers who made supreme sacrifice during Operation Sindoor. He wished the injured soldiers for early recovery.
