Indian Railways announced special trains from Jammu, Adampur to Delhi

According to an official statement, Indian Railways has planned to run several special trains from Jammu and Udampur to Delhi in view of the current situation.

According to official information, there is a plan to depart from Jammu at 10:45 am on train number 04612. The special train consisted of 12 unreserved coaches and 12 reserved coaches for general and reserved category passengers.

Apart from this, a 20-Koch Wande Bharat Rake has also been planned as a special train, which is going to depart from Udhampur at 12:45 pm.

The train is ready to run through Jammu and Pathankot, which connects the northern districts to the national capital. In addition, it was planned to depart from Jammu around 7:00 pm on Friday evening (19:00 pm), another 22-coach.

Meanwhile, on Friday, the Nellore District SP of Andhra Pradesh and the Guntakal Railway SP, Dog Squad, GRP team and Santhapta Police personnel jointly inspected the Nellore railway station jointly.
The check consisted of railway platform, train coach and parcel office.

Railway DSP Muralidhar said, “After the Pahalgam attack, we started a check at Nellore railway station following the instructions of the Director General of Police, AP, and Guntakal. Local inspectors, three town inspectors, and GRP, RPF, and about 100 personnel of RPF, and Town Police, along with Dog Squad and BD team, were involved in all the investigations.”

“We inspected every platform, train and entire station area. We divided the area into six teams to cover it well, and also investigated the stations of Gudur, Nellore, Kavli, Wongol and Chirala. The local police helped by inspecting areas around the stations including hotels, lodges and bus stands.”

Railway DSP Muralidhar said that it was a precautionary drill after the Pahalgam terror attack. The local police also supported the discoveries at and around the station. (AI)
