Officials said the Indian Army has fired unexpected small arms of the Pakistan Army across the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri and Akhnoor regions in Jammu and Kashmir (JK) along with Kupwara districts on the night of 30 April and 1 May.
According to the Indian Army, Indian soldiers responded rapidly and effectively for firing unprotected small arms by the Pakistan Army.
This is the seventh consecutive day of India’s effective vengeance as the unsafe small arms of Pakistan’s army were shot on the night of 25–26.
Earlier, the Indian Army effectively responded to Pakistan’s small weapons across the LOC in the Jammu region.
The update later confirmed that violations of similar ceasefire were recorded in North North in Baramulla and Kupwara districts, as well as in the International Border (IB) in the Paragwal region.
Meanwhile, India on Wednesday shut down its airspace for all aircraft registered in Pakistan and all aircraft run by Pakistani Airlines, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA), 26 people were killed on 22 April in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
India on Wednesday issued a notice to Airmen (NOTAM), which confirmed all Pakistani-nominated, operated, or leased aircraft, including military flights from 30 April to 23 May (estimated period), to close their airspace.
Both India and Pakistan have now stopped each other from using their airspace, as the neighboring country had already announced the move six days ago.
