In a close coordination with local police officers, the Indian Army on Sunday launched a controlled campaign for safe destruction of 42 unexplained shells in the border areas of Jhulace, Salotry, Dharti and Salani in Poonch district.
In a statement issued here, Lieutenant Colonel Sunnal Bartwal, spokesman of the Ministry of Defense in Jammu, said, “Recently pose a serious threat to the remains of cross -border firing, these shells, the lives and safety of the local residents. The operation was fully performed with accuracy, which follows all standard security protocols to prevent any risk for civil life or property.
