Srinagar, October 2: The Israeli military said that several missiles launched by Iran hit an Israeli air base but did not cause any casualties or property damage.
“Yesterday during the Iranian attack [Tuesday]several missiles landed at an Israeli air base. The Indian Air Force has no offensive infrastructure or capabilities [Israel Air Force] “The base was damaged,” the military said, according to Al Jazeera.
There were no reports of casualties or damage to aircraft in the attack, the statement added, without specifying which bases.
According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the missile launches into Israel were in response to deadly Israeli attacks on the people of Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the assassinations of senior leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Hamas and Hezbollah.
Israel sounded the alarm on Tuesday night when missiles landed on major towns.
Israel and its top ally, the United States, said their forces worked together to shoot down most of the nearly 200 projectiles fired by Iran.
