India is planning a large -scale diplomatic initiative to highlight Pakistan’s continuous support for terrorism on the global platform.
According to reliable sources, about 40 multi-sided MPs will form seven groups and travel to different regions of the world. The initiative aims to inform the international community about the ongoing support for Pakistan’s terrorism and highlighting India’s recently launched Operation Sindoor.
The 10 -day tour starting on May 23 is expected. Groups of MPs are likely to visit several major world capitals including the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Japan.
This will be the first time that the Center will depute MPs from several parties to present India’s stance on Kashmir and present the border terrorism from Pakistan.
While the government has not officially announced the initiative, it is understood that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and other agencies are currently preparing documents with facts and examples to confirm the allegations against Pakistan. An officer of Mea is expected to be with the delegation.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is leading coordination efforts for this international tour, leading to an important step in India’s diplomatic outreach.
Several opposition MPs including Manish Tiwari, Shashi Tharoor, Priyanka Chaturvedi and Sasamit Patra have been allegedly contacted to participate in the campaign.
JDU MP Sanjay Jha, former Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid, and BJP MP Aparajita Sarani are also expected to participate.
India launched Operation Sindor on 22 May on 22 April in response to the Pahgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed. More than 100 terrorists died in India’s exact attack in Pakistan and Pojk on 7 May. (AI)
