India has clearly dismissed China’s futile and predetermined efforts to change the name of places in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh and stressed that such exercises will not change the reality that Arunachal Pradesh is, and will always remain an integral and unqualified part of India.
Foreign Ministry (Mea) spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal on Wednesday commented on the changing of places in Arunachal Pradesh, responding to media questions.
Jaiswal said, “We have noticed that China has remained with its meaningless and pre -existing name to name places in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. According to our royal situation, we clearly reject such efforts.”
He said that such “creative nomenclature” will not change the undisputed reality that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.
He said, “Creative nomenclature will not change the undisputed reality in Arunachal Pradesh, and will always remain an integral and unqualified part of India”, he said.
In the past, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had said, “If today I change the name of your house, will it be mine? Arunachal Pradesh is, that is and always the situation in India. The changing names have no effect.”
“I think we called it right. By repeating it, it is still insensitive. So I want to be very clear. Arunachal Pradesh is, and always India will remain,” he said. The EAM also emphasized, “I hope that I am saying it so clearly that not only in the country but also in the country, people also get this message very clearly,” Jaishankar insisted.
India has re -reprimanded the baseless arguments by China to change the name of Indian regions with India. Arunachal Pradesh is, is, and will always be an integral and unqualified part of India. (AI)
