India should take the first step to increase tension with Pakistan: Mehboba Mufti

Srinagar, May 10: PDP chief Mehboba Mufti said on Saturday that India should embrace the role of its leadership in the subcontinent and take the first step to increase tension with Pakistan, as it is a moment to stand long and display for the country that its real power lies in its soft power and commitment to peace.

US State Secretary Marco Rubio spoke to the Pakistani Army chief Asif Munir, and “urged both sides to find ways of de-skeletes.

“Even though US vice -president JD Vance initially said that the US would not interfere beyond a certain point in the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, in the light of the worrying intensity of the situation, US State Secretary Maro Rubio has now reached the head of the Pakistani Army,”

He said that instead of relying on “incompatible” international support, India should take the first step for D-Susscale.

“India should not rely as inconsistent international support as the world’s largest democracy and now as an emerging power/with a growing economy/fastest growing economy.

“Instead, instead, India should adopt its leadership role in the subcontinent and take the first step for D-Susscale,” Mufit said.

Mufti said, “The world is watching us. It is a moment to stand long and showcase for India that its real power lies in its soft power and commitment to peace, not in Nukes,” Mufti said.

On Wednesday, tension between the Indian armed forces between India and Pakistan rose significantly, a precise strike was held to target nine terrorist launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).
