India repales many Pakistani drone strikes, ceasefire violations with IB: Army

New Delhi, May 09: Army said that it successfully removed a wave of drone and missile attacks launched by Pakistan late Thursday night, as tension between India and Pakistan once again increased. Several military establishments, including Jammu and Pathankot, were allegedly targeted, although no loss was confirmed.

In a press release posted on X (East Twitter), the army said, “Operation Sindoor: Pakistan Armed Forces started several attacks using drones and other sages along the entire western border on the night of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pak soldiers also launched several attacks. Pakistani soldiers also took several seas fire violations (CFVs) along with a lotus. The Security Force (BSF) thwarted a major infiltration attempt with the Western Front, which the authorities described as a coordinated aggressive from across the border.

While India has avoided to increase “northwards”, the nature of attacks and the retaliation beyond the scale, described as attacks described by authorities, has increased the possibility of a comprehensive conflict.

Meanwhile, a meeting under the Defense Minister is being held in Delhi with top officials of security soldiers. There is a possibility of vengeance of Pakistan’s last night enmity in India. New Delhi is asked to closely monitor the situation.
