‘Incredibly derogatory’: OPP says Bronze Headstone Norfolk is being stolen from the cemetery in Norfolk County

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) at Norfolk County says they are investigating at least two recent reports of Headstone for theft from the cemetery in the region.

OPP constable Andrew Gambal said that both examples were targeted by bronze headstone.

Earlier this week, Gamble said that a bronze headstone was stolen from the Buhyvoy Cemetery in Port Rowan.

Separately, a bronze headstone was stolen from the holy heart cemetery in Langton.

Gamble said in a video posted on social media, “It is so unfortunate that this type of work has been done and there is a person, or there are people who do something that is incredibly derogatory.”

Gamble is advising anyone who spots suspicious activity in the cemetery in Norfolk County to contact the police.
