Kuldeep was beating a dog after locking it in a room.

A man has been arrested for locking a dog in a room and beating it in Deoband area, police said on Thursday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said a purported video of the incident has surfaced on social media, in which a man is brutally beating a dog. He said that a police team has rescued the dog and arrested the accused.
Police said that during investigation it was revealed that the accused often beat dogs.
Mr. Jain said that on Wednesday the police received information that the accused Kuldeep had locked a dog in a room and was beating it.
The injured dog has been admitted to the hospital. The officer said that a case has been registered against the accused under Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
