In Sangam, sailors pray for PM Modi’s long life on their 75th birthday

Prevention, 17 September (IANS) celebrates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday as a nation, on Wednesday, he is giving his best wishes from all over India. Among those who gave gratitude, there are Nishad sailors in the holy confluence of the prayer of Uttar Pradesh, who say that under the leadership of PM Modi, his life has improved a lot.

In recent months, Prayagraj hosted the world’s largest religious gathering – Mahakumba, which attracted millions of devotees from India and around the world. But beyond spiritual importance, this incident brought enough economic opportunities to the local population, especially for the sailor community, who earned well and continued work.

Talking to IANS, many sailors – from the youth to the elderly – shared how his life has seen “maritime changes” since 2014, which credits both Prime Minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for change.

Vikku Nishad, who has been working as a sailor for 18 years, said, “Before 2014, things were difficult. But after the arrival of PM Modi and CM Yogi, our economic situation has improved. We have now have health insurance, we have benefited under government schemes, and life is more secure. Health insurance of Rs 2 lakh is more safe.”

An veteran Nanka Nishad, with a 30 -year experience in the Sangam, said, “We have seen real development – from better roads to doorstep ration distribution. Today, our children go to school, we have access to healthcare, and we earn a stable income. Prime Minister like Modiji is happy and proud anytime.”

Many sailors emphasized that government schemes related to health, ration and employment have directly benefited them. He wished PM Modi a long, healthy life and hoped that he continues to lead the country in the coming years.

He said, “On his 75th birthday, we pray for his good health. Can he remain our Prime Minister for the coming years,” he said in a uniform.
