Some parts of the UK welcome the New Year Snow as cold snap plummet temperature to below freezing point.

Arctic conditions to persist into next week, more Snow Showers may occur in some areas. Forecasters said up to 40 centimeters of snow could fall in the highest areas of Scotland, while 1 to 2 centimeters was generally expected in affected areas of England.
