Jabalpur: The atmosphere of the third day of ‘Jeevan Utkarsh Mahotsav’ (Festival of Upliftment of Life) organized by BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Sanstha was filled with inspiration, devotion and profound life values.
The program started with melodious, devotional mantras and kirtans, the sadhus and youth filled the atmosphere with devotion with their soulful singing.
Following this, a video presentation titled ‘BAPS Organization Introduction’ was screened, giving a brief introduction to the organization’s global humanitarian services, educational projects and spiritual activities.
Keynote speaker Gyanvatsal Swamiji, in his address, said, ‘True happiness comes when we link our development with the progress of others.’ Through examples and inspiring anecdotes, he explained that contributing to the upliftment of others is the greatest form of ‘seva’. Swamiji’s words awakened a new consciousness of self-development, co-existence and service in the huge gathering.
Subsequently, a special video presentation titled ‘Pioneer of Social Service – Mahant Swami Maharaj’ was shown, showcasing his inspiring works rooted in compassion, service and humanity.
Rakesh Singh (Minister, Public Works Department, Madhya Pradesh), who attended the program as the chief guest, said, “The lamp of positivity that BAPS organization has lit in the society through service and culture is an example to emulate for all. The Hindu temple built in Abu Dhabi, where people can worship without any hindrance, is a big victory for Sanatan.”
He said that selflessness and humility in the life of Mahant Swami Maharaj is a symbol of true leadership. His birth in Jabalpur is a matter of great pride for us. He expressed his wish that a grand temple should be built in Jabalpur also.
Dnyaneshwar Swamiji further explained, “Life finds its true meaning only when a person devotes his abilities to the welfare of society, following the guidance of the Guru.” After this the meeting ended with greeting the guests and traditional ‘Aarti’.
Thousands of devotees from Jabalpur and surrounding cities participated in this program.
