The Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Railways, and Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnav on Wednesday appreciated Operation Sindoor as a significant performance of India’s identity and the combined role played by his armed forces under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Vaishnav highlighted that military vengeance for the Pahalgam attack on 22 April is not only a will for the country’s strategic capabilities, but also reflects the new defense theory implemented under the decisive leadership of the Center.
Talking to the media, Vaishnav said, “Operation Sindoor is a very important example of India’s ‘Asmita’ (identity), the role of our armed forces and the decisive leadership there. It also gives an example of the new theory.
The Union Minister addressed the press about the approval of the union cabinet of a semiconductor manufacturing unit in the sixth, Uttar Pradesh, India. It will be a joint venture between HCL and Foxconn and it will be installed near the Jowar Airport. Production will begin in 2027.
HCL has a long history of development and construction of hardware, and Foxconn is a global leader in electronics manufacturing. Together, they will set up a plant near the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, or Jewish Airport at Yeda.
The chip unit will attract an investment of Rs 3,700 crore. Ashwini Vaishnav told reporters after the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the other five units are currently underway and is expected to be inaugurated later this year.
The minister said that the Jewish unit will have a capacity of 20,000-vernacular and 36 million (3.6 million) chips per month. Chips produced in the tide plant will be used with mobile phones, laptops, automobiles and other things in PC.
The semiconductor industry in India is still in a newborn stage, in which various local and multinational companies intend to tap their vast capacity. The lack of chip during Covid-19 felt the importance of indigenous manufacturing to fill the deficiency for national security, and to galvanize indigenous innovation.
The other five semiconductors are under construction in Gujarat and Assam.
Earlier, in the day, Vaishnav praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the success of Operation Sindor for the Press Information Bureau (PIB), and said that India had decided to re -write the rule book on “terrorism”.
Ashwini Vaishnav said that Operation Sindoor is a “clear articulation” of a zero tolerance policy to protect national security.
“The massacre in Pahalgam was not only an attack on innocent life-it was an attack on the discretion of India. In response, India decided to re-write the rule book on anti-terrorism. Operation Sindoor is the most obvious articulation of the Modi government for a void-tolerance, no-compromise policy, which is the policy of PM Modes, PM Modes, NOR-promoted.
The Union Minister mentioned the steps taken by Prime Minister Modi in response to the initiative terrorist attack.
