'I'm not sure how': Sky pundit says 25-year-old Leeds ace did something 'unbelievable' today - Thelocalreport.in

Leeds United ran out 4-2 winners at Wolverhampton Wanderers in a dramatic Premier League encounter on Saturday.

The Whites took the lead early on through Jack Harrison, who side-footed home from Wilfried Gnonto’s cut-back.

Leeds then scored twice in the second half to establish a seemingly unassailable 3-0 lead.

Luke Ayling doubled the Whites’ lead on 49 minutes with an unmarked header past Jose Sa.

Just after the hour, substitute Rasmus Kristensen dispossessed Jonny and slotted into the corner of the net.

The Wolves defender then made amends with a volleyed finish on 65 minutes to keep his side alive.

Then, Matheus Cunha netted with a deflected strike in the 73rd minute to set alarm bells ringing among the visitors.

However, the hosts found themselves a man down after Jonny got a straight red card for a studs-up tackle on Ayling.

Late on, Rodrigo Moreno lifted the ball over the onrushing Sa for his 11th goal of the campaign.

‘I’m not sure how’

Although Leeds shipped two goals, there were some decent defensive performances.

Max Wober, for instance, delivered a solid display for his side.

He made some big blocks in the game and was unlucky to see Wolves’ second goal come off his heel.

One of the 25-year-old’s blocks prompted Sky Sports pundit Michael Dawson to sing his praises.

In the 27th minute, Nelson Semedo tried his luck, and Wober kept the ball out near the line.

“It’s magnificent play by Wolves,” he said on Soccer Saturday (18/3/23, 15:28).

“I’m not sure how it’s not 1-1. It’s an unbelievable block. Wolves are dominating the game.”

A solid display from Wober as Leeds secure an incredibly important three points.
