AAs a kid I was always “Team Witch.” While other children were obsessed with fairy tales, my favorite books were stories about witches and spells. It was a fascination that transitioned seamlessly into my teenage years, when my treasured possessions included massive pieces of amethyst and light pink quartz. Even now, my girls’ WhatsApp groups are filled with discussions of meditation, manifestation, and crystal cleansing.
My friends and I are not alone in our love for the moonlight ritual. The global spiritual products and services market is projected to reach $186.5 billion (£139.2 billion) in 2025, growing to $254.7 billion (£190.1 billion) by 2034. While on TikTok #crystal Has received 21.8 billion views and #tarot has received 100.9 billion views.
It’s no surprise that clairvoyant Jayne Wallace has seen such great success with her company Psychic Sisters, a group of talented mediums and healers who have been headquartered in Selfridges for the past 20 years. Wallace himself is one of the most sought-after clairvoyants in the world, including among his clients. Kim Kardashian And Kate Hudson.
This reputation has led to them being recently recruited by Stolentime, an all-inclusive resort on the Caribbean island of Saint LuciaThe prestigious wellness destination has commissioned her to create a four-day retreat that will give guests the opportunity to learn about tarot and crystals straight from the source,
When the invitation to join Wallace came, I jumped at the opportunity. Then before I knew it, one September morning I was on a plane to St. Lucia with a group of crystal-loving friends. We will then travel to Malabar Beach on the north-west coast of the island where the resort is located.

A sister property of St. Lucia OG Kalyan ResortBodyholiday – established 30 years ago – Stolentime is a boutique, adults-only hotel where guests can choose from a variety of schedules of daily activities. There’s everything from yoga and Pilates to water sports, pickleball, archery and more – all chosen to help stressed souls disconnect from the pressures of modern life.
I didn’t take any vacations or time off work this year, even the view of the beautiful West Indian property was enough to make me feel more relaxed instantly. With seven acres of tropical gardens, and located on St. Lucia’s longest white sand beach, this place offers warm weather year-round.
I was ready to completely disconnect from the never-ending churn of emails, deadlines, and to-do lists and do a much-needed reset.
It wasn’t long before I met Wallace. You might expect someone who “reads” people for a living to give off an air of mystery, but when I approached her on the first morning of the retreat, she felt like an open book. Warm and witty with a broad East London accent, she’s sharp as a razor and gets her point across without hesitation.

She immediately declared that I was a “witch” – and far from committing a crime, I was on the (full moon). Whether I was convinced myself is another matter, although I wanted it to be true – I was very excited about what the next four days might reveal.
Our itinerary included two-and-a-half hour-long sessions per day led by Wallace – one in the morning and one in the afternoon – which took place in either the chic champagne bar, the air-conditioned Beach Studio or the Malabar Beach Club, a “feet in the sand” restaurant at the water’s edge.
Each began with a meditation that opened us to our spiritual practice. On the first day, our first lesson was psychometry – the art of reading objects – by studying tropical flowers, their petals, buds and how they connect. We each chose a stem we were naturally attracted to, then in pairs, analyzed the flowers. The text suggested that with its sunny yellow flowers and many buds, my flower reflected my life to a tee.
We also created aura drawings with colored pastels stained onto the instincts to provide information about our energy, emotions and well-being. This was a workshop I was less confident about, although some of my classmates excelled.
Of course crystals came into the equation, and we interpreted their colors, shapes and how they scattered when we poured them onto the printed grid.
One of the most intensive sessions was Tarot, where we learned how to read simple nine cards drawn from a pack, which involved deciphering the shapes and symbols on the cards with the aim of creating a narrative as each picture appeared. We practiced on each other, and then on the enthusiastic parade of Stolentime team members, who seemed unsure of what to expect. As Wallace led the reading, rattling off extremely accurate information, one gentleman’s mind was blown – as was ours.
Also in the program is the appearance of the moon, which occurs over the beach after dark. We started with a guided group meditation and breathwork before setting an intention and then visualizing that it had already been achieved. Finally, we wrote our expressions on small “wish letters” which were burned and discarded, the ashes carried upward into the night wind.
Another class focused on recognizing and trusting our intuition, which we all have to a degree, Wallace explained. Inner feelings and inner awareness are things that everyone has and can be honed with practice, she says. But psychic abilities go further, allowing some people to tune into higher vibrations and energy fields. Clairvoyance adds another layer, opening a channel to the spirits, and for Wallace, this link has been lifelong.
She tells us that from a young age, she had vivid dreams and sensed the presence of guides who, as she was raised by her mother, spoke openly on spiritual topics. What began as an innate spiritual sensitivity in childhood has evolved into a sophisticated gift – and this ability to connect to the unseen world has laid the foundation for everything she does today.

Apart from the sessions, spending time on Stolentime is like a dream. We spent our free time eating fresh coconuts, enjoying massages at the world-class spa, and having champagne “hour” at the glamorous Champagne Bar – although it has no official closing time, and keeps serving bubbles until the last guest leaves.
Less tranquil activities include boat trips around the local marine park, which has some of the best snorkeling I’ve experienced, sunset tai chi, and for the adventurous, water skiing and tubing. The latter is enough to get my adrenaline pumping, before it returns to its new Stolentime-baseline with the help of a suitably tropical cocktail.
Overall, the Psychic Sisters Retreat is a fascinating addition to the activities already available at this cozy yet dynamic hotel. The way the sessions gradually integrate participants with each other will make it a great vacation for solo travelers who want to connect with other like-minded people, as well as a fun option for couples or groups of friends.
In a world where we allow phones, watches, and algorithms to dictate our every action, Stolentime’s journey is about reconnecting with ourselves, and the spiritual practices taught by Wallace are another way to carve out moments of peace in our busy lives. And so back home, with a pocketful of shiny new crystals, a tarot deck, and above all, memories of a magical time, I set out to weave my new magical habit into everyday life.
Claudia’s trip was hosted by Stollentime.
