AirPods 4 Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation
Last year when Apple’s AirPods 4 were released, Independenttechnical reviewer, David PhelanTested them as soon as they were launched. in his ReviewDavid praised the “excellent” buds as “surprisingly small and light”. While he found that the bass was “fine, though not as heavy as some competitors”, he still said: “Music listening is exemplary, even with noise-canceling on, providing good breadth of sound and fidelity in tenor and mid-range notes.”
In terms of its sound quality, he said, it didn’t rival the pricier Pro models, but the audio quality was “strong.” If you want even more powerful noise cancellation, the AirPods Pro 2 (was £199, now £179, Amazon.co.uk) There’s also a small discount of 10 percent for Prime Day.
They’re designed for better comfort over longer periods than previous generations, and David confirmed they were “definitely comfortable.”
Their battery life is five hours with noise-canceling on, and four hours without, and you can get up to an hour of listening time after a five-minute charge time.
