In his 12th Independence Day address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made bold announcements, indicating that India is ready to make significant progress in future.
PM Modi underlined schemes for various initiatives, including India’s first semiconductor chip, development of jet engines, construction of youth employment and ten times the expansion of nuclear program.
He presented his vision for “Naya Bharat” (New India) and set a target to convert India into a developed nation by 2047. The major points from PM Modi’s address were:
1.Semiconductor: Lost decades to mission mode
Recalling efforts to establish semiconductor factories 50-60 years ago, “killed at birth”, while other countries enriched, PM Modi announced that India is now on mission mode. By the end of this year, the nation will roll out in its first -built India Chip.
2. Energy capacity to grow ten times by 2047
In the next two decades, 10 new nuclear reactors are underway as part of India’s mission to increase nuclear power generation capacity.
3.GST Reform – A Diwali Gift
The next generation GST reforms will be unveiled on Diwali, taxes on essential commodities will be reduced and provided relief to MSMEs, local sellers and consumers.
4. $ 10 trillion task force for India
PM Modi announced the construction of a dedicated reform task force to run the next generation reforms. Its mandate: Accelerate economic growth, cut red tape, modernize governance, and prepare Bharata for the demands of $ 10 trillion economy by 2047.
5. ₹ 1 Lakh Crore PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana
PM Modi launched a major employment scheme of ₹ 1 lakh crore, under which newly employed youth will get ₹ 15,000 per month. The objective of this scheme is to benefit 3 crore young Indians, so that the prosperity from Swatanatra India to India is to strengthen the bridge.

PM Modi highlighted the dangers of demographic imbalance due to infiltration and illegal migration into the border areas.
